The Carlyle Inn

"Great hotel managed by nice people. Manager Jessica was a pleasure to speak with. They gave me reusable discount coupons to nearby cafes (which were great spots), and drink tickets for the lobby happy hour. The room was clean but not exactly spotless. A cleaning rag was left in the room, some weird splatter residue on the bathroom walls. The iron was leaky, the AC had a moment where it wouldn't turn on until I reset it a few times. Onsite parking is very tight to navigate but affordable and convenient. There is no microwave in the room, which was inconvenient. Bed and shower are most important to me and those were perfect, although the hot water ran out once which was odd. While showing its age at the edges and could use some TLC, it was overall a very good experience and location, I would definitely come back."

"I recently stayed in this hotel to attend a wedding in Los Angeles. The location is excellent if you want to be within walking distance of a synagogue and kosher restaurants. The rooms were clean but not quite as fancy as a Hilton. The coffee machines were Keurig brand. I enjoyed the open layout of the hotel. The staff were all very welcoming."

"I booked my sister's 80th birthday party from 12-5 to 12-6/2025 at the Carlyle Inn. What a fabulous time we had at the hotel with the stupendous support and attentiveness of the manager, Jessica. The staff were so accommodating for the birthday celebration, they assisted with every detail, and the service was immediate from helping us set up the party, to making sure our guests were accommodated, and ensuring that we had a beautiful experience. Family members commented on the quaint/clean rooms, the friendly staff, the great location of the hotel, and the intimate setting. It was a very memorable experience for our family."

"We enjoyed our stay very much. The service and staff were very kind, professional, and accommodating. Parking in the garage was simple and accessible. Although there are no meals on-site, the hotel does offer discount coupons to nearby restaurants, and there is a snack bar in the lobby, as well as a happy hour in the early evening. We had a lovely dinner at the nice, quiet Thai restaurant across the street, and there were plenty of other restaurants within a short walking distance. The rooms were clean, quiet, well appointed, and the king sized bed was very comfortable. I will remember The Carlyle Inn the next time we are in LA."

"We had a problem with the heat in one of the rooms, but the problem was quickly remedied by Fredrico at the front desk. He did his best to fix it, but was unable to do so, so he moved us to a room that had heat and was actually given an upgrade for our inconvenience. We were very happy with the change….and warmth."
