After we booked, they reached out to coordinate our arrival, and the staff continued to shine throughout our stay. The lady who greeted us, and the gentleman who was in the office for the next few days, were both consummate professionals and incredibly friendly. They took care of anything that we needed, in the least impactful way possible. The housekeeping staff was, similarly, very responsive and efficient. The property, itself, is spectacular. It is a wonderful relic of old Hollywood and located in a great neighborhood. We stayed in the Oscar suite, which was beautifully appointed, quiet, and so comfortable. The Charley is a class act and we thank you for making our visit so enjoyable. We look forward to the next one!"

Essentially like an Airbnb (dishwasher, clothes washer+dryer, full kitchen, etc) but with the full benefits of a hotel (cleaning staff, in-person concierge, dedicated parking). They’re even so thoughtful with things like real flowers and plants, and even a complimentary pie on Thanksgiving. Really can’t say enough good things about this gem. Worth the money!"

We initially booked a suite and a studio but ended up with a surprise upgrade to two beautiful suites. ❤️ The suites were spacious, spotless and comfortable — perfectly updated but retaining the character of the building's vintage with stained glass windows and exposed wood beams. And the staff were fantastic! I hinted that my colleague would be surprised and delighted be in a specific room that shares a name with a song he loves, and sure enough it was his upon arrival. The setting at The Charlie is English cottage garden, peaceful and quiet. I'd stay again in a heartbeat and hope it'll be for more than one night next time. All-in-all an unpretentiously lovely and relaxing treat."

Not just the room amenities (such as a proper kitchen) but the decorating. There are a few reviews complaining about the service. This not a traditional hotel, so if looking for room service etc this is not for you. I found the front desk manager very pleasant, accommodating and great communication. My guess is a previous bad staff member, or the reviewers write reviews because they like to complain. We would definetley stay again."

Location Good location in West Hollywood. Service They have so many rules that they make it stressful to stay there! "don't cook fish" - >you will get a 250 dollar fine. "don't lose the key" - > you will get a 250 dollar fine. "don't move the furniture" - > you will get a fine."
