"Love this location! Would happily go back. Breakfast was not worth the price, they served me burnt toast. We went elsewhere for breakfast after that. Rooms were clean, quiet, the bathroom is gorgeous, and I appreciate there was a toilet closet with a full door. I usually don’t like hotel pillows, but found these comfortable and didn’t immediately flatten. I also really loved the afternoon treat after coming in from the cold, which was apple cider. People in other reviews made it sound like this hotel is hard to find, but I disagree. Great walkability!"

"We were at the hotel during the NEW YEAR week. We really enjoyed our stay. My wife loved how close the hotel was to the downtown.. The decoration is charming and welcoming.The patio is nice,they have curling and people was enjoying it.Was to cold for us.we’ll be trying next time . Delicious food, the chorizo skillet was incredible.. All the staff were excellent, especially Meredith and Umar who attended us and were kind and friendly. The service was fast and Meredith always on the lookout serving more coffee. Our experience was phenomenal. We'll be back very soon."

"We celebrated both a birthday and an anniversary this weekend at The Gwen, and everything was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcomed at all times. Check-in was fast and seamless, and every team member we encountered carried that same warm professionalism. The bar and outdoor terrace were beautiful and such a relaxing spot to unwind. The signature Moët vending machine was super cute and such a fun touch, it really added to the hotel’s charm and elegance. The concierge team truly went above and beyond, we were welcomed with complimentary champagne and macaroons, along with thoughtful recommendations for where to find decorations, cake, restaurants, and local activities. They even offered help with transportation when we didn’t feel like driving ourselves. I’m usually the planner when we travel, but this trip, the concierge made it possible for me to completely relax and enjoy every moment. We’ve stayed in over 200 hotels because we love to travel, and this has been, without question, the best experience we’ve ever had. Thank you to everyone at The Gwen for creating such a peaceful, clean, and comfortable environment to celebrate our special weekend. Your attention to detail and genuine hospitality did not go unnoticed. We will definitely be back!"

"The concierge staff was amazing, specifically Ramon! In my opinion, concierge was the reason for the high rating due to their ability to provide extreme professionalism and the willingness to make your stay enjoyable. They went above and beyond, were very knowledgeable, and made up for minor things the hotel lacked. The rooms were nice, but not as extravagant and or luxurious as I assumed they be. The views from both our rooms were great, but definitely lacked smart TV capability as others have previously mentioned. The rooms were equivalent to an Embassy Suites but with nice wallpaper. I suppose I expected more, especially with the price point and upgrading the rooms to the Grand Deluxe King. Definitely disappointing. The food and service was wonderful and the access to the mall was also an added benefit. Everyone was kind, knowledgeable, and helpful in every regard. However, the weight of the hotel seemed to be carried by concierge and housekeeping. The service staff at the front desks were knowledgeable, but didn’t feel as if they were too inviting and or didn’t possess the knowledge due to them always referring us to concierge, so Ramon became our main point of contact over basic questions. Over all, it was a great stay that lacked many aspects the basic 3-4 star hotels have nowadays, but the cleanliness by the housekeeping staff and concierge made the stay wonderful."

"I stayed at the hotel for Christmas week with my family. The hotel is in a very good location, it is spacious and modern. The rooms are spacious and clean. But the best of all was the staff service. Meredith our waitress in the morning was great, friendly and professional no matter that the place was full and it seemed that they were short of staff, Meredith was exceptional. She provided a fast and good service .We'll be back"
