The River Hotel

"The suite was fantastic with lots of room, super comfy beds and was spotless on arrival, the coffee was great (both in room and on second floor). The second floor wais awesome with Lora of space and tables to use for eating or visiting or even just sitting quietly with morning coffee. Location is extremely convenient to bus lines and trains with lots of restaurants, Millennium Park and Art Institute nearby. Jacques and Pedro at the front desk were extremely warm, kind, friendly, helpful and accommodating. I will stay here again every time I visit Chicago! Thanks so much for making our stay so pleasant and comfortable!"

"We had a large family party coming in from 3 different states and we were all taken very good care of. Pedro and Jaques helped us. Both gentlemen were great. Both of them embodied real human connection and kindness with a sincere willingness to help make our stay wonderful! True customer service at its finest! Our rooms were clean and quiet and the beds were comfy and cozy. We had a beautiful family event and they played a big part in making us feel welcome in Chicago. I will recommend over and over again! "Pedro was very professional, very kind, and very personable. He made us feel welcome and appreciated. He interacted with personal conversation and genuine connection. They held our bags for us while we enjoyed our last day in Chicago even after we checked out of the hotel. We came back and everything was intact when they returned our belongings to us. And To put icing on the cake, He even let us eat our food in the dining area upstairs before we left to board our planes. I highly recommend the river hotel. It’s very clean, Very comfortable,and everyone is very professional and very kind. I will definitely be returning To The River Hotel the next time I visit Chicago. "Great and decently speedy service; it feels like they're doing their best within the constraints of how old the building is. A room with a fridge and microwave was apparently an "upgrade" from our original room, but even the original room would have been quite good value for money for the 2 of us. Very good location - next to the river, a short walk away from most attractions & transit, etc. Generally felt fancy despite being reasonable."

We were fortunate to be assisted during check-in by Pablo (forgive me if I’m mispronouncing his name!), who was absolutely wonderful. He not only made the process smooth and pleasant but also shared some amazing hidden gems around Chicago. His kindness and enthusiasm really set the tone for an incredible first day after our flight."
