There was a wedding reception goin on and there was enough room for them, plus the hotel guest in the dining/ bar area. Only thing that was negative was i am a marriott good member and the lady checking me in didn't recognize it. No biggie we were still giving a late check out. And everything was great"

Room was clean and comfortable..The bed is warm and cozy which is nice when you are away from home. The only down side was you can hear the neighbors talking, which stinks at 2 am...we only had drinks at the bar so can't comment on the food quality, but the bar staff were nice as well. The hotel is in a good location and we were able to walk to a variety of restaurants and entertainment. We would definitely stay here again."

The customer service was top teir, and the doormen were amazing and friendly. They took care of all my benefits without me even asking. Normally i have to ask for my "free" water bottle and half the properties say they dont even have it. The executive loung was really nice and over looked the River. The morning staff was awesome. The gentleman with the name that started with a K (it was unique) was absolutely amazing and friendly. I truely enjoyed seeing him in the morning and talking with him. This has had to be one of my most enjoyable hotel stays, i really wish they were all like this."

The hotel itself is beautiful, exceptionally clean, and located in a great area. While the property is a bit dated, it’s still very comfortable and well maintained. Check-in initially went smoothly, but things quickly took a turn. I was traveling with family, and we all arrived at different times. One of my family members experienced issues checking in, so I stepped in to help. That’s when I was informed that the representative who checked me in earlier hadn’t completed everything correctly and that additional information was needed from me. What disappointed me most was the lack of communication — I had already been on the property for over five hours with no contact or notice that there was any issue. Had I not been assisting my family member, I would have never known. While the issue itself was minor, the way it was handled left a lot to be desired. The staff didn’t take accountability for the mistake, and no one offered an apology. That’s very unlike the level of service I’ve come to expect from Marriott. Overall, it’s a lovely property with great potential, but customer service should always match the quality of the brand. You can have a beautiful hotel, but without top-tier service, the experience falls short."
