Tru by Hilton Springfield Downtown

"Our stay was amazing. We checked in later on the day and were greeted by a friendly staff. We received a nice welcome bag with bottled water and skinny pop. The hotel is super cute. Lobby is filled with bright colors, comfortable seating, a pool table and game cabinet are complimentary for guests to use. The room was comfortable with oversized pillows providing a comfortable night sleep. Enjoyed the Not Soup Radio bath soaps. A nice reference to an old joke. Breakfast buffet was well supplied. Pancakes, fresh yogurt and oatmeal, along with protein choices. It was great to have an Udi's Gluten Free Bagel option, as I recently was diagnosed celiac and usually miss out on hotel bagels. Check out was smooth. Would definitely recommend this spot when you are in town."

"Stayed here for two days in a double Queen bed room. Room was clean spacious. Bathroom was clean too and the soaps were better than many other hotels I've been to. The lobby is the best part with coffee and tea available 24/7. There's plenty of seats, a pool table and a snack/drink bar open for purchase from. Would definitely stay here again."

"I love this hotel. The rooms are nice and very clean. The breakfast served in the mornings is great, it has almost anything you could want. I love their eggs, it’s an odd thing to like but I think they are very good. They have a great salt water pool that is very relaxing in the evenings. This is the place to stay for downtown Springfield! It’s well lit and has good parking!"

"This is basically a high end Motel 6, which is not bad, it seemed it was patterned after the Motel 6 updates they have been doing only on grander scale. The room was decorated very nice, it was clean and comfortable, albeit a little small, but it was great for us we were just sleeping there anyway. The staff was superb! Knew the area and places to eat and things to do, they were very accommodating. The lobby was well decorated and made a comfortable environment. Breakfast the next morning was typical of most hotel breakfasts in other chain hotels. Food was well laid out, hot and fresh. They have coffee all day and night long, nothing fancy, but I'm not a fancy person anyway, but for me it's a definite bonus! They have snacks and microwaveable food available 24 hours. All in all, great stay, we'll be back."

"I was shocked to see this hotel didn't have a higher rating. The hotel is VERY clean and I saw staff frequently during my stay wiping things down and keeping things tidy with normal hotel traffic. The staff was awesome - friendly, informative and helpful. I LOVED the whole vibe in the lobby - great aesthetics and comfortable. There was a pool table, games, table top jenga and a table top connect four. The rooms are simple and modern. The bed was so comfortable--sheets "soft like butter" and the pillows were the firmness. Another review made a comparison to a Motel 6--not even close - this is a really nice hotel."
