"Absolutely the best staff possible. I could not have enjoyed my stay more. My room was spotless, cleaned thoroughly. The bed was as comfortable as any bed in my house. "This is the definition of a hidden gem. Literally one of my favorite places ive ever stayed in LA. Its an unassuming brick building DIRECTLY on the board walk. I could bike to santa monica pier AND golds. Theres limited 1st come 1st serve GATED parking in back which was why I picked this place cuz that is super hard to find. The room was suspiciously cheap, I guess its cuz its winter but its was SO NICE. I didnt realize I was getting a lil apartment on the beach! The shower has a handheld and tht overhead thing tht feels like rain. Theres a rooftop lounge that is so dope and open till 10. Couples without kids in their 30s- 50s would love this place. MOST IMPORTANTLY the staff was AMAZING, Danielle is who checked me in and she was so nice and warm and engaging that I assumed she was from somewhere else, the night person was so pleasant and helpful but I forgot to ask her name and Gilbert was equally kind and warm which was so refreshing to wake up to. Im already booking for Jan, on god I had a better time here than at shutters and the staff outshined jst about every other hotel in the area in terms of customer service. I cannot overstate the good vibes in this building ."

"We stayed here for a weekend getaway in September and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was clean, charming, and perfectly located just a short walk from the beach. The daytime front desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, offering great tips about the area and even providing beach gear like an umbrella and towels for our afternoon by the ocean. We had a very good time and would definitely stay here again!"

"We had the best stay! It was our first time staying here, and we couldn’t recommend it more. Danielle from the moment we checked in was so helpful and sweet, made us feel welcome right away. The room was in top tier condition and everything was clean which we really value when looking for rooms. Not to mention the location?! Unreal! It felt so special being able to walk right out the door and onto the beach. We drove so needed a place to park and they had great and affordable options, Danielle made our stay very easy. We would 1000% stay here again :)"

"Check-in was easy and luckily was able to get secured carpark next door. Carpark was a bit pricey but better than having to park in the street and risk getting broken into. It’s getting the bags in and out of the room that was a bit hard. The elevator was old and could only fit 1 person and 2 bags. Building and hallways are a bit dated but luckily the rooms are renovated. Good location as the boardwalk is right outside. The rooftop access was a bonus. Nice to take photos during sunset up in the rooftop and room had partial beach view. Overall, it’s good based on location and if you just want to relax by the beach."
