"From the moment we arrived, the experience at Venice V Hotel exceeded our expectations. The lobby immediately impressed us with its beautiful blend of historic charm and modern design — stylish, warm, and welcoming. Upon arrival, we were able to store our luggage, and thanks to our wonderful advisor, we were granted a complimentary early check-in, which made our arrival seamless and stress-free. When we entered the room, we were pleasantly surprised by a complimentary bottle of wine as a welcome gesture — a thoughtful and generous touch. The room itself was perfect: impeccably clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The amenities were excellent and of high quality, with a refrigerator and coffee available in the room, as well as coffee conveniently offered in the lobby. The hotel’s oceanfront view is simply outstanding — truly one of the best. Additionally, the penthouse (PH) offers a beautiful, relaxed space to sit, talk, and share moments while enjoying the surroundings. Finally, the location is unbeatable: directly across from the beach and just steps away from the iconic Venice canals. Everything about this stay felt carefully curated to provide comfort, style, and an exceptional guest experience. We would absolutely return and highly recommend Venice V Hotel to anyone seeking a memorable stay in Venice Beach."

"Amazing time at the Venice V hotel. It felt super safe with the keycard access. The staff was always friendly and accommodating. They let us know on check in that since we were staying for 5 days are room was on the smaller side and if we wanted we could upgrade to a penthouse for a little extra. Typical sales tactic but definitely worth it. Planning on staying everytme I’m in LA."

"I have a new appreciation for Venice! We spent 2 nights for an event at the park. Sure its a bit pricey, and our room was smallish, but we could see the ocean. The bathroom was very functional and a decent size, full length mirror, nice large shower. The details were thought out, lots of outlets, good lighting. The parking attendant was always helpful and kind. The desk staff were all very professional and helpful. My only issue was the TV. No local news channels, but everything else which I couldn't figure out. The staff came up when I called in 2 minutes to turn it on for me, but after he left I couldn't get it on any programs. I didn't want to call him again so I just let it be. Great location for walking on the boardwalk and to the water. Yes, there's unhoused people around but I never felt unsafe, and there's lots of tourists, vendors, runners, dogs, and bicycles. We would definitely stay here again."

"The overall stay worked for our needs. The check-in and valet were quick and easy. Upon arriving in the room, it was very stuffy and smelled musty of cleaning solution. The windows only open a few inches, so there was no way to air out the room. We had to leave for a reservation as soon as we arrived, so we did not have time to address the issue. The amenity fees ($27/night), valet costs ($60 with tax), and deposit hold ($100/night) are clearly stated on the website when booking, so we had no surprises, as mentioned by other guests. We did not use any of the amenities listed, but you can see that bikes and beach equipment are available to you. The area surrounding the hotel is full of different characters, but nothing out of the ordinary for an urban area. I never felt unsafe walking alone, as most people who occupy the street keep to themselves. I was surprised at how quiet it was during the night and the morning, given we left the windows cracked open. I did hear footsteps from the guests above in the morning, but nothing from outside. For the location and price of the hotel, it worked for this specific trip."

"I booked Venice V on a whim at the last minute and I’m so glad I did! The location is fantastic and the staff was even better - they were so kind, accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure my dog and I were comfortable. The room was clean, had beautiful finishes and was decorated beautifully. One minor flaw would be that the rooms don’t seem to be soundproofed very well - the people in the room above me had very heavy footsteps and I could hear doors / voices from the hallway a lot. Overall, I will be back and would recommend to others!"
