From start to finish, this was an unforgettable experience. The rooms were absolutely stunning, and the views were phenomenal, truly a luxury stay that felt special and elevated. My daughter, and her friends had the time of their lives, and it made her birthday incredibly memorable. The hotel staff was phenomenal. Every question or concern we had was handled quickly, professionally, and with genuine care, which made a huge difference. While there were a few minor hiccups, the way the staff resolved them stood out. We did notice a pricing discrepancy, as we were initially charged about $700 more than our original quote, including a double charge related to a deposit and a parking fee that we later found was included with the room. Thankfully, everything was corrected ,but I’d recommend guests keep a close eye on billing just in case. At breakfast, my husband’s meal was overcooked, and there was an issue with brioche toast picking up fibers, but the staff handled it immediately and removed the charge, which we appreciated. We also had a brief issue with room key cards deactivating, but again, it was resolved right away. One thing to note: there are no microwaves, and outside food in rooms appears to be restricted, which is a bit unusual for a high-end hotel. It wasn’t a deal-breaker, we catered food to the room ,but it’s something guests should be aware of. Overall, we loved our stay. Despite a few small bumps, the service, ambiance, luxury, and experience made this an incredible trip. We absolutely plan to return and would highly recommend the Viceroy Hotel to anyone looking for a special, upscale stay in Chicago."

a month ago"Great hotel, with stylish rooms and very attentive staff. The property is dog friendly, with water bowl and dog bed provided. The location is great and in short walking distance to the water front and Oak Street Beach. The only downside is the valet parking. It’s very expensive and during our stay the valet stand was chronically understaffed with cars regularly clogging up the entrance to the hotel, double parking on the street with no valet in sight."
