The breakfast was outstanding—I enjoyed bacon with a veggie egg scramble and a ham-and-cheese egg tortilla wrap. They also serve homemade banana bread, and the kitchen is fully stocked so you can make your own sandwiches, grab fresh fruit, fill a cannoli, or indulge in Italian ice cream (I loved the lemon and watermelon flavors!). The location is perfect—an easy walk to DePaul and surrounded by cute shopping and dining streets. It’s also convenient to the Red, Brown, and Purple CTA lines for getting around the city. Rooms were comfortable, clean, and exactly as advertised on their website. A thoughtful touch: my son, who is a DePaul student, was offered a discounted separate room for one night before his last final exam so he didn’t have to stay in an empty dorm. I definitely plan to stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Lincoln Park or DePaul!"

The interior of the house was gorgeous and comfortable. We really felt at home. Gina, one of the owners, was so friendly and accommodating as she worked tirelessly in the kitchen. Without hesitation, I would go back in a minute!"

We stayed in two different rooms while we were here, Capone's Cantina and the Venetian Suite, and the Capone room was absolutely our favorite. We love anything that sees a theme and works to completely immerse you in it, and this did so with aplomb. All the homemade breakfasts were delicious, and between the welcome sangria that came from the wall and the build-your-own cannoli station, to even just having an opportunity to chat with the staff and to see how much they care about this place, I cannot wait until I have the opportunity to visit again."
