"From the moment I arrived everything exceeded my expectations! The staff are incredibly kind and treat you really as if you are a loved friend or family member. The carriage house and main house were beautiful, clean and right out of a charles dickens novel, full of rich history. The breakfast was out of this world and I will absolutely be returning!! Thank you for the best experience I've ever had while traveling!"

"We had a great time at the Walnut Street Inn. Our room was cute and clean, and breakfast each morning was lovely. It’s close enough to plenty of restaurants and shops that you can walk. If we ever find ourselves back in Springfield, we will definitely stay here again."

"What a gem in Springfield! We only got to stay one night, but wish we had more time to explore the inn and the area more. The house is super quaint and incredibly clean. The tub in the room was perfect for the start of a romantic night. Bed was comfy, room was large, and the breakfast fabulous. We had to get our booties reluctantly up and going by 0730, and breakfast was served promptly at 7. The entire staff was so friendly. Would absolutely come back and take the time to enjoy the place again."

"We stayed in the Jewell room and had a great time. The fireplace was a little slow to turn on, but there was an alternate heat source. The jetted tub was very nice and clean, and they were environmentally friendly, even offering recycling. The only big complaint that we had was that the TV seemed a tad bit too far away from the bed, and it was a smaller TV, making it hard to see. I saw some people mention the nearby traffic, but it did not seem that loud to us. Also, I sometimes have issues with food textures and was able to give back a part of breakfast without feeling judged. The part I did eat was seasoned really well, and my fiancee loved the whole thing. The cook was very kind and personable. They also whipped us up some chocolate milk! Overall, it was a lovely get-a-way."

"We called the Finley Room home for two nights and it was amazing. The room was really nice with all the old house charm. We had the breakfast both days and it was amazing. The breakfast is cooked to order chef picks. The first morning was orange and cinnamon pancakes with bacon and fresh fruit. The send day was a sausage and goat cheese frittata with fresh fruit. Both meals were incredible. The staff was super friendly and they made it feel like we were staying in their own home. Love the property and the surrounding area. We definitely recommend having a stay in the Walnut Street Inn."
