"Making this stop to see this museum was well- worth it! The museum has a combination of some theater, exhibits and historical physical artifacts. We especially enjoyed the integration of AI in some of the exhibits and shows. The family learned a lot and enjoyed several hours here. In addition there is a nice café to grab lunch or snacks and a lovely gift shop. Most of the guides are volunteers and super helpful/knowledgeable. I recommend this stop for anyone!"

Everything contributed to our education of their lives & impact. Glad we visited the Monument/Grave site a few miles away. Just a few blocks away, we walked the same brick streets Lincoln did at the Lincoln Home National Historic Site. Touring his home and the preserved neighborhood truly made history feel alive. The park rangers were knowledgeable and passionate, sharing stories of Lincoln’s family life and his rise in politics. It was surreal to stand where the “Great Republican Rally” was held in 1860 right in front of his house. If you’re in Springfield don’t miss this powerful and inspiring stop — it’s a must-see for all Americans."

"Lincoln, a president we think we know, but forget the small tidbits you learned in grade school. Here at the Lincoln Museum you’ll learn the true history. The depth of Lincoln’s legacy will come to life before your very eyes as you explore the museum. With stunning displays of Lincoln and his family, articulate plaques and informative posters you’ll feel like you’re walking alongside history itself. The immersive shows in the theater were breathtaking. Listening to the narrator and watching their performance was truly a unique and unforgettable experience. Me and my partner talked about it for hours afterwards, we’d never been so thoroughly entranced by a performance and left feeling like we’d been briefly transported into a moment of history. Featured with this review is a photo I took of Lincoln’s bust, I attempted to capture the somber and serious nature of the president. A man who struggled with mental health, a man who faced great ridicule, a man who endured so much loss… yet all the while keeping the nation running. Pushing for freedom, trying desperately to unite a nation that was determined to remain divided. I hope you are able to enjoy the museum, and maybe along the way take some of that history home with you in your heart."

"We visited on a January Saturday and it was not busy at all. The volunteers all were very friendly and happy to share more information or answer questions. It is definitely worth a visit! I would allow 2 hrs to see it all! We will be visiting again!"
