If you're the type who loves to dive into every artifact and display, you could easily spend hours here. But even if you just read the highlights and chat with the volunteers, it's a great 20-minute stop. The barn is beautifully maintained and easy to find, with convenient parking around back. The ground floor feels like a mix between a cozy museum and a vintage shop — I even spotted some rose rocks for sale, which was a fun local touch! The volunteers were warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. I really enjoyed chatting with them — they clearly love what they do. Outside, the grounds are tidy and feature old farming equipment on display. You can also climb 15 steps to the upper loft area, which is available for rent and sometimes hosts live music events. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Entry is free, but donations are definitely appreciated — well deserved — and very much needed. PROS: ✅ Great roadside stop on Route 66 ✅ Easy to find with back parking ✅ Free entry ✅ Friendly, knowledgeable volunteers ✅ Clean and well maintained ✅ Rich in history and unique charm ✅ Cool loft space available for events ✅️ No wait for entry CONS: ❌ None!"

Be sure to visit both. The staff is very friendly and helpful. A fun stop along the route that you shouldn't miss."

It doubles as a souvenir shop and triples as a second hand store. Upstairs is an open area that can be rented for special events. Worth spending a few minutes here."
