Clyde V. Kane Rest Area - Northbound

"This rest stop ranks very high amongst the rest stops that I have seen crossing the country. The restrooms were spacious and fresh. The stalls were not cramped and remodeled in such a way so that when you are in there, your elbow hits the wall, which is very unsatisfactory and unsanitary. The scenery is vast and beautiful from a desert perspective and the big rigs all have a place to park nice and neat away from the automobiles overall, this was a five star experience . We even a rest attendant, picking up trash along the side where the auto park and it looks like there’s a doggy rest up as well."

"Clean bathrooms for me and I walked my puppies on the sidewalk. Watch out for stickers in paws if you go off the sidewalk ."

"Large clean restrooms, shaded picnic area and good parking areas. Be aware that there are settling ponds nearby. If the wind is blowing in just the right direction, like today, it smells very strongly of stock yard or sewage. Not sure you’d want to picnic here because of that. We didn’t linger."
