The station, filled with memories, photos and relics of the past are plentiful and walking thru them is sure to bring back memories of your own and make new ones too. Make sure to visit, the garage, the station, the gift shop as there are surprises to be found everywhere. And, get in on the great debate on whether cheaper gas possibly found down the road or better quality gas is more important, just another fun rivalry with a nearby stop. The owner is a great resource of local information too. He can give you ideas on places to stay in nearby Springfield. Some local buildings and what they were used for in the past. And just friendly and once you leave, you have another friend for life. Definitely stop and have fun here too!"

"Great little piece of Route 66 history! The folks are real nice as well."

"This a perfect little pit stop along the way of historic route 66 and has a tiny gift shop. Stop in say hi to the gentleman who allows so many to stop and look at what is so many years past and nostalgic. If you have 20-30 to spare, stop, look and end enjoy looking at yesteryear. There is no admission. Just think about a purchase in the giftshop. A genuine route 66 gem."

"Great, free museum! A real gem. Worth the trip down Rt. 66 just outside of Springfield. There are just so many treasures from the early days of driving and automobiles. If you’re a fan of classic signs, memorabilia, automobiles, you must visit. The owners/ curators live on site and they are so friendly and welcoming. They have a little store with stickers and T-Shirts. You can also get cold drink and some snacks."

"Unfortunately it was closed when we came through a few days before Christmas but was still nice to see it before continuing our journey on Route 66"
