"Fun experience! Loads of information about the mother road and pictures from almost every stop along the way. We visited at dusk when the signs were just starting to pop. There's a little bit for everyone here, cars and equipment to play on for the little ones, interesting things like the signs and a giant for the teens, and history for the old fogies. You could spend between 10 minutes if your only interested in a quick photo-op to about 40 if you looked through each exhibit. If you're a route 66 buff or just find yourself in Springfield with a few extra minutes, this is a great stop!"

"Great place to stop and learn about Route 66 in Illinois! Then when you add the cool Neon Signs, the Burma Shave jingle signs and all the small buildings talking about the history of all the small towns in Illinois on Route 66... Everything really comes together to make a outstanding stop!"

"Located on the fairgrounds in Springfield. This gives you a miniature snapshot of Route 66. Lot of pictures. We'll worth the stop. If the closest gate is closed keep working your way around until you find one that's open."

"Timed our visit so that we could see the signs in daylight then as the sun set. The exhibit takes you along Rt. 66 and the neon signs that once flourished along the route. Well done. Visited on a Friday night in September and not busy at all."
