"Very moving monument that is definitely worth a visit. Everything is well maintained and in great condition. They had someone inside to answer questions and help if you need anything. Be sure to rub Lincoln's nose outside!"

"OK, this is pretty hard to miss. But the burial site of perhaps the greatest president in the history of the United States is worthy of such splendor. Abraham Lincoln is buried under feet of concrete — thanks to grave robbers — together with most of his family. (Robert Todd Lincoln, as I recall, is buried at Arlington National Cemetery.) There are a couple of small rooms aside from the burial chamber itself. If you’re really adventurous, you can find the temporary vault where Lincoln’s remains were kept until this was constructed. This is of course, a pilgrimage for any Lincoln student or admirer."

"A fitting memorial for the memory of one of the most influential American president. The memorial is in a way a mausoleum. It is open during certain hours and staff by knowledgeable custodian. Within this mausoleum you also find the tombs of Mary Todd, and her sons. Behind the memorial and at the base of the Hill you'll find the original temporary site where Lincoln's remains replaced. There is an informational placard and an image that shows what it looks like in the late 1800s. Interestingly enough, this temporary tomb was not only just for Abraham Lincoln but for other unexpectedly deceased that waited until their final resting place became ready. There is nearby parking that is a short walk to the memorial. I also noted that a free city tour bus also has a stop here. Grounds are open between 8 to 5: 00. It is important to note that the memorial sits within an active cemetery. visitors are reminded to act in solemnity during their visit."

"Based on the history of the United States, this place is a must-visit. Considering the impact Lincoln had on the development of the country, it is important to come here at least once and pay tribute to this historical figure. Perhaps it would be a good idea to touch the President's nose for good luck before the election campaign."
