"This spot in Litchfield, IL, is an absolute gem ! With Route 66 beginning not far away in Chicago, it's a MUST for anyone tackling the Mother Road, especially those soaking in the vibes and cruising with this year's Centennial 100. The place is decked out with stickers, pins, HATS (gotta love those $15 '1O'1 hats!), shirts, hoodies, and a ton more. They've totally embraced Route 66 and the real, deep history of its origins, plus Litchfield's own Route 66 story. And get this—they've got plaques, paintings, drawings, awards, and even vintage lighting all over the place. It's a true masterpiece. You can feel the intentionality, the passion, and all those memories kept safe and sound in this one-of-a-kind museum. I'm ready to go back. Happy 100 to all involved, Route 66, and props to everyone repping! ⭐️🇺🇸❤️‍🔥 ONE LOVE ❤️‍🔥🛣️⭐️"

"Lots of memorabilia, from route 66 to military. Very clean bathrooms too. Lots of photo ops, we spent 45 minutes but could have spent longer."

"Absolutely l Ioved our time at the Museum, great displays about Litchfield and route 66 history. The lady at the desk was very kind and informative. They have a map on the wall with pins showing where visitors have come from and people from all over the world have been there. Its easy to find and directly across from the Ariston and Jubelts cafés, we ate at Ariston and it was amazing, check out the pies. Photo ops on the side of the building. Free to get in but there is a donation box at the door."

"We stopped in here to get our passports stamped. They were very nice and friendly. We were short on time so we didnt get to go through the museum. But we do plan to come back out again another day so we can tour the museum. If you get a chance stop in and check it out"
