The grand hall is so large that at one time people drove their cars straight in. I was very thankful that our guide was patient and did not rush us. I have a leg that has issues and was moving more slowly than everyone else and he did not try to rush me. So much natural beauty to see. After walking around in awe of all I had seen they then took us to a theatre where the project directly on the caverns gorgeous wall. I was very moved by the positive and uplifting film they played with the patriotic theme. As a first generation American I always am so thankful when places give us a beautiful gift of patriotism and love for God like this grand finale! What a way to end such a stunning tour. Thank you so much for such a memorable adventure"

The path was very walkable and felt mostly accessible with just a few sections with a slight slant to the path, one section that requires steps (though this room can easily be skipped if you can’t do stairs), and overall dim lighting."

You won’t be sorry. You’ll see things you’ve never seen before! Very cool gift shop and treats as well. It’s a whole experience!!!! We were there in the off season, so the ziplines were closed. Bummer. They look legit."

These natural features took thousands of years to form, shaped slowly by water, rock, and time, and it’s amazing to think about how long they’ve been hidden below the surface. Walking through Meramec Caverns feels like stepping into a completely different world, where every turn reveals new textures, colors, and formations that catch your eye. From massive rooms with towering features to smaller details tucked into the walls and ceilings, there’s always something interesting to look at. The caverns are easy to explore and full of moments that make you stop and take it all in. It’s a fascinating place to visit, whether you’re there for the geology, the history, or just to experience something truly unique and memorable."
