Whilst currently undergoing renovations, you will find the staff to be very knowledgeable and friendly. Be sure to get your own copy of the Springfield Passport that'll highlight the various key places of interest."

Across from the Old State Capital and 4 city blocks away from the Lincoln home and other historical buildings. Take a walk and soak up the 1800 history of everydayife."

Tons of brochures to be had. There's also a re-creation of Lincoln's law office as this is the building he practiced in. Street parking is free for 2 hrs at meters that are not gold. Those are an hour."
