Ted Drewes Frozen Custard

"Great location to get some custard and cool off during the summer heat. During my visit there was hardly any wait at all! I had planned on visiting several times, but each attempt was diverted due to the long lines this location normally has. Their long list of flavors is impressive. The vanilla concentrate is divine, and I also ordered a Cherry/Pistachio Malt which has always been my favorite combination of flavors, and they did not disappoint. There is a gift shop nearby, and I really enjoyed learning the history of this iconic location. Staff was very friendly, and service was fast! I do not think I would mind the wait if my next visit has long lines."

"The temperature, be it 32 or 100 degrees, is irrelevant. This St. Louis institution, family-owned for four generations, never disappoints. Today's selection was the Cardinal Sin, with cherry and fudge."

"Great custard. Despite the common suggestion of trying their concrete (which is like a milkshake) I would actually suggest just getting a plain cone!!! The concrete tastes like a slightly better milkshake… but the cone highlights the uniqueness of the custard, it is so unbelievably smooth and creamy. Service was fast!"

"This place was recommended by numerous travel sites. I came here to try the best of STL. I was not disappointed. I've tried numerous custard companies (see my reviews) and Ted Drewes is one of the top spots I will recommend from now on. I tried their chocolate, mint, banana, and vanilla. I liked it all! They have lots of free parking spaces available. All wheelchair accessible. Be ready to fall in line during busy hours. Don't forget to visit their souvenir store across the parking lot."

"Ted Drews is one of the most, if not, the top iconic place in St. Louis. Most well known for their frozen custard but olso at Christmas time they have a very high quality Christmas tree lot and the smell of fresh Canadian pine is everywhere, don't miss Ted Drews at Christmas time!"
