"We absolutely loved the ice cream the other night. The banana pudding is incredible. We also had Oreo and chocolate. This is a definite stop that we will do again. We have a toddler and they offered If we needed to take any books home we could do that. What a nice offer in this day and age. They also have a beautiful outside seating area."

"THE spot for banana ice cream in STL It’s pretty rare that an ice cream shop will have one of their selections significantly outshine everything else they have to offer, but this is exactly what I experienced at A Spoonful of Sugar. And what’s even crazier is that I don’t even like bananas, but I was going bananas over their banana pudding ice cream. Their banana ice cream is so good that I could realistically see a Planet of the Apes situation go on at a Spoonful of Sugar, where apes learn about how good the banana pudding ice cream is and perform a hostile takeover. Their other ice cream flavors were still good, but they didn’t leave a lasting impression on me like their banana pudding ice cream. But other than being light on toppings in their other flavors, I don’t really have major constructive criticism to offer. If you want to have ice cream, you can try anything at a Spoonful of Sugar. But if you want to have a lasting experience, you’ve got to get the banana pudding ice cream. Banana pudding ice cream > caramel crumb cake > chocolate brownie"
