"This place was a total highlight of my STL stay. Ownership was welcoming, neat history, and fantastic music all night (was a Thursday). I enjoyed a nice meal and even got a little dancing in. No complaints, here."

"In town for business and decided wanted live band music and food. Saw BB’s on Instagram and was immediately drawn in by there southern collard greens and red beans and rice. The place had a great atmosphere. Dim lighting inside and out, great portraits of jazz memorabilia all over and even have a second level balcony with an amazing view of the Arch. The Band exceeded my expectations. Great use of the instruments and improvisations. The set list was a assortment of new and classic Neo soul collection. Definitely recommend inviting family or a significant other. The Staff and the food was friendly and attentive. The food was great. Southern cuisine at your Cousins place kind of vibe."

"I can't say that we came here to eat...so my review is not on the food. Went out with some coworkers to enjoy some drinks and live music, and this ended up being the best part of the trip. Just a great venue with a really fun atmosphere. The band who was playing was excellent, full of great musicians doing their thing. Good mix of people in the bar, from all walks of life...just enjoying the vibe. If I'm ever back in the St. Louis area again, this would definitely be a place I'll hit again."

"Great music club with ok food. The walls of this bar just drip with the essence of blues and jazz. pictures of legends on the wall along with the not so legendary but all great! Check out the art in the upstairs bathroom. Tom Hall had the opening for the evening. Enjoyed his solo blues numbers until about 9:30. At 10 Skeet Roger's "New Inner City Blues Band" opened for the evening headliner. This band was tight, together and a joy to listen to. After a couple of warm up songs Skeet joined the band and just sang the blues. A wonderful, very entertaining evening. Live music seems to be scheduled every evening, great spot, don't miss it!"
