What made the experience even better was the super friendly service. It’s rare to find such a perfect combo of great food and great people. Highly recommend!"

"Great experience every time I’ve been here. Today had the Bigfoot with eggs over medium and hash browns. Meal was cooked perfectly. Coffee was good. Water tastes like water, not chlorine or sulfur. Cesar was my server. Never had less than half a cup of coffee or water. Definitely recommend."

"Came in for the first time and the waitress Ebony gave me some recommendations. I ended up choosing the taco salad, see pics. I want to say Ebony was very friendly, helpful and attentive. The taco salad was huge!!!...much more than any one person should ever be able to eat. With high food prices in California I would say this meal provided more food than you could buy on your own at a store. I chose to top it with bacon ranch dressing, sour cream and salsa. I will be back to this place every time I pass thru."

"Found this restaurant on our pit stop in Barstow, going home from Las Vegas, looking for lunch and to sit in to eat. We got seated quickly and our server was knowledgeable and friendly. Our food came out in a reasonable time and it was great tasting. Every one with me enjoyed their meal. The onion rings were delicious and crisp to perfection. I like that they offer smaller portion meals as well and their menu selection is stupendous. I’ve been waiting to eat at this restaurant for quite some time now because I’ve been waiting for the grand opening of one at my hometown for a while now. So glad I came across this one and finally tasted their food and saw their menu. Thumbs up!"

"Today we were able to have Breakfast at Black Bear Diner in Barstow, Our first time at that location. We had great food, and our waitress was very kind, professional and attentive. Hopefully whenever we are on the 15 freeway and pass Barstow we could stop again and dine at this location."
