"Best dive bar in downtown. Best prices Best bartenders point blank PERIOD. Only 2 pool tables that are usually full but easy as heck to put your quarters down to get in on the action, plus while you wait the regulars will introduce themselves to you and you will feel welcomed like a regular by the time it is your turn to play. Drinks are cheap and poured well. Lauren is amazing and a good bartender who knows the regulars and their limits. Sure people leave lit but she isn't afraid to cut off her regulars when she knows they have had a lot & possibly driving. I have been here countless times even until last call and I never see anyone walking out stumbling. Has banned some people when they get complaints even if they were a loyal regular. Keeps everyone safe & comfortable. I genuinely always feel safe & welcomed despite the dark and smokey atmosphere ❤️ Vending machine available with snacks and cigs! Cigarettes are about the same price as the gas station too, not marked up. Great place to hang out and have a drink even if you are just passing through. Photos on the wall from the 90's and early 2000's really make you feel like you are stepping back into time ❤️"

"I can't imagine a more appropriate bar that's only a half block from the Dylan + Guthrie museums. I could imagine either of them dropping in for a beer and a smoke. Cool staff in every good sense of the word (attentive; helpful and patient with my questions about local brews, for example). In town with my daughter to visit the museums and couldn't believe our good luck to have this place only steps away from where we were staying. **Reasonably priced drinks** Only regret: one night we wandered over to another bar, which I would describe as too self-consciously hip: arcade games, theme-named cocktails, that sort of thing. Like someone took Caz's and tried to turn it into Applebee's. Ridiculously overpriced drinks, unlike Caz's."

"I wanted to check out a local bar by my hotel, and this hole in the wall bar was right across the street. What an experience, it reminded me of the old college days back in the early 2000's. They had ashtrays on the bar, you can't do that in my state...you can't even do it in Mexico. It wasn't too smokey in there and didn't bother me at all. The drinks were priced exceptionally. Tito's and cranberry for $5. They also had jello shots for $1."
