Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

"A rare 5 from me is hard to get. We had 8 oldguys for breakfast today. We had a table but we had more than the table held so the waitress said she could move us to a bigger table. She was one of the best We have had in a long time. Forgot her name but said she moved back up from Texas. Sense of humor,and service and banter was outstanding. I cannot remember all We got but have pictures. One of the first mornings no one took home leftovers. I have not been here in years but was really surprised at this visit. Good job"

"Had supper here on 10.15.2025 and was served by Melissa. She was Amazing and the hashbrown casserole Sheppards pie was outstanding!! Definitely will eat at this location again when I travel though Illinois."

"Love the warmth of the real fire. Busy as all heck... why did we get placed in the back corner when there were so many open seats in the middle section? Food was greasy a bit... you all cooking in seed oils yet? Gotta get back to safe beef tallow etc. Server was friendly and quick, but my wife's burger came out wrong and boys chicken had lots of oil between the bread and meat. Bathrooms were 50% clean. Overall, this wasn't a good experience but, eh... sometimes that happens."
