"Well you can't see it but there is chicken under that pile of fries! We had to try the infamous horseshoe dish and boy was it good! and fattening... I got the Buffalo chicken. The smaller size, the pony, was only a dollar cheaper, so got for it! BTW, the white sauce is real cheddar cheese too. Very lively and popular place. I enjoyed everything, thank you!"

"Place was recommended to us by an employee at the state capital that suggested we get the horseshoe. We got the one with buffalo chicken. It was so good. They had fried green tomatoes. Those were good. The ranch is really good. Definitely would go back and try a different type of horseshoe."

"My boyfriend and I went yesterday December 12th 2025. I had my service dog with. I asked them to place us somewhere out of the way and where my service dog wouldn’t be a bother to others (people don’t like “pets” in restaurants and I understand but my service dog has to be with me 🤷‍♀️). They were amazing about him and the waiter even made sure my boy was comfy. Our waiter was absolutely great. Made sure we had everything needed but didn’t overly bother us or hit us with fake cheer. Was genuinely a pleasant person. The food was just chefs kiss 🤌🏼!!!! I can’t say enough about the food. The garlic aioli was simply amazing as well. Enough so that I had the waiter get me a good size to go bowl of it 😂 yes, judge me. It’s good stuff. We will for sure be returning. We come from Macomb for my many doctor appointments so this is for sure my number one to eat at for now on! Get your butts there and support an amazing place!"

"This place was super packed and it did not affect the quality of service that me and my coworker received. So many beautiful faces in this restaurant was something that we noted while eating here. I tried the hamburger horseshoe with extra cheese. This cheese sauce is not the flour-based type that's always gross and grainy. The meat was nicely textured with no filler. Nicely hidden under the fries that were good. I honestly would want to try the Philly Cheesesteak horseshoe. My glass of water and tea were never fully empty and always refilled promptly. I'm not sure if that was due to where we were seated, but it was definitely awesome, since I was extremely thirsty, from working outside all day. This was my only meal, and it was very well worth it. Now, I can say, I have tried an authentic horseshoe in Springfield."

"My friend and I were in Springfield for a teacher's conference. We hail from the Chicagoland area, and as you know, the food there is hard to beat. We had been struggling to find some good food in Springfield, and finally I decided that we were going to have our first horseshoe sandwich. Based on the reviews I've heard online and some people in the area, we decided to do it at D'arcy's Pint. I had the pot roast horseshoe sandwich, which was absolutely amazing! My friend had the Philly cheese steak horseshoe sandwich which she also loved. They had a great variety of drinks. I had a Watermelon High Noon which is not always easy to find. I would definitely go back to D'arcy's if I am ever in town again!"
