"I don't usually venture into Mexican restaurants, but the reviews on this place were too many not to verify. Located in an off-the-road plaza is a small place where you can walk into Mexico. The steak was great! The rice was well-cooked, and the salsa does not disappoint, with a level of spiciness of 6 out of 10, being the spiciest. They have a fully stocked bar, and the music was on point with the ambiance. Sitting 2 minutes off I-55, it's a must-stop for good food if you're living near Bloomington or if you are heading to or out of Chicago! The service was great! Be careful with the chips... you might get full of them before the main dish. I couldn't get enough of the chips. Great place for family or friends and even in my case lunch!"

"The only time I've eaten here was passing through on my way back to Minnesota after a trip to Virginia. This would have been early 2020. Since that time, I've had Mexican food from countless other places, and yet, nothing comes close to this place. The burrito I had, which unfortunately I can no longer recall details of, is still the single best burrito I've ever had anywhere. I still frequently find myself daydreaming about it 😅. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and eat here."
