"This was a nice fancy place to come out to dinner for elevated Indian food. I ordered the Cordelia drink that was nice and refreshing. We ordered family style so we got to try everything. Portion sizes were a bit on the small side. So make sure you order enough. The curry leaf prawns, coastal flame scallops and eggplant kulcha was very good! The pulled butter chicken kulcha & Kerala beef pepper fry were decent. The favorites were probably the lamb shank Rogan Josh & the alleppey prawn & curry fish. It was all very fragrant, flavorful and delicious. The ambience of the restaurant feels like a cocktail bar with upscale food. This would be a neat place to visit just for a drink by the bar. This restaurant also accommodates pets as I had a dog there in the outdoor patio. The staff was very attentive and nice."

"11/22/25: If I could give more than five stars, I would. ✨ This was my second visit to Fitoor, and once again they raised the bar—high enough to make every other “vegan-friendly” restaurant in LA blush. I run a Vegan Ladies group in Los Angeles, and Rohan, the manager, went above and beyond to make our lunch memorable. He and Chef Imran Khan created a dedicated vegan menu just for us—thoughtful, flavorful, and truly phenomenal. I’ve eaten at a lot of vegan spots across LA, and this one genuinely takes the cake (a vegan one, obviously). Every dish was curated with intention, care, and zero fuss, even with our various dietary needs and allergies. And a special shout-out to our server, Roshni, who was warm, attentive, and made us feel so well taken care of. Whether you’re vegan or not, put Fitoor on your foodie bucket list. It’s an experience—one crafted with heart, hospitality, and unforgettable flavor. 6/14/25 The food was absolutely amazing! Every dish was bursting with flavor, and we were so grateful that our vegan requests were happily accommodated. The staff was kind and attentive, making sure everything met our dietary needs without compromising on taste. Highly recommend for anyone looking for delicious Indian food with thoughtful service! A special shoutout to Heather, who was incredibly patient and accommodating with all our requests. She made us feel so welcomed and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Her kindness and attention to detail truly elevated our dining experience—thank you, Heather!"

"As I start to write the review and think about the experience, I am a little conflicted between 3 and 4 stars overall and I’ll try to lay it out in some detail. I’ll go with 4 stars but with some lingering doubt. We went here for dinner on a Thursday evening. We had a reservation and were seated almost immediately when we got there. The restaurant occupies a fairly large space and even has a section that can do private events. The table felt a little tight for a party of four but that’s what they have and it worked with some creative moving/placing of dishes so I suppose that’s fine. The ambiance was excellent. I really liked that the restaurant gave the feel of a fine dining experience, unlike many Indian restaurants. I’m not always seeking out fine dining, but when I am, I will know to go here! The service was good and efficient. Our server had suggestions and made recommendations that all seemed to make sense. We placed our orders for drinks and appetizers and they came out quickly. We enjoyed the paneer (can anyone mess up paneer?!!), the avocado burrata chat was pretty innovative and interesting, the tofu dish was OK. We then ordered the entrees, maybe too many! The daal was excellent, very buttery. The other dishes were above average but not great. We ordered two desserts and those were really not good. I think they tried to do too much with the desserts. The Gulab Jamun Crème Brûlée really missed the mark. In my view, a good Gulab Jamun is excellent in its own right. It pairs well with a few things (cold vanilla ice cream!) but not with a lot of things. And this attempt at trying to do a Crème Brûlée with Crème Anglaise was a total fail. And the Pheni Nest - that was a total failure. Maybe the fact that we finished with dessert that failed badly has me feeling like the experience wasn’t great. But as I rationalize, I feel like the ambiance and the first few courses were average to good should offset that. And maybe that’s really why I am conflicted? Anyway, overall I feel like I would go there again before I make a final judgement on how I feel about it. And in the meanwhile, I would recommend it to someone looking for a nice Indian restaurant, that offers a good dining experience."

"Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The food I ordered was beautifully presented, but the flavors didn’t quite match what I’d expect from Indian cuisine (even fusion), especially for the price. But the dessert was really good."
