They've moved into a bigger space, but Gayle herself is still there greeting customers & taking orders! The cheese pull is still the best; I got the Classic this time, but my all-time favorite is the Southport. Price is on the higher end, but the quality & locally-sourced ingredients are worth it. Will be back more often for lunch during the work week!"

I had the plain grilled cheese, though I was intrigued by the mac & cheese one. I thought it was a fine sandwich but kind of boring— that’s probably my own fault since I didn’t get anything in it. I am a root beer fan and they had Filbert’s (from Chicago!) so I was a happy camper."

The sandwiches were very flat. It felt like they were skimping a bit. The gobbler was so much better but still not filled enough to justify the price. Their soup was unique enough with flavor, but it felt like it lacked something for me. It just did not hit when you dip the sandwich in. The fries was good but nothing to write home about. Now I thought their homemade ketchup was awesome! I know that it is in Chicago loop prices, etc, but it is overpriced. If i pay 15+, I expect it to be filled. It's definitely worth coming back to, just not very often."

Lemonade was just ok, I felt it was overpriced. You decide. I recommend if You’re not starving & just need something to hold You over until you can get real meal. They did have live music which was nice. I believe You can request what songs You want to hear from a playlist. So that was cool."
