"If you haven’t been to Goodwins yet, you’re seriously missing out. It’s this hidden gem inside an office building, and honestly, walking in made my whole day better. The service was impeccable and super fast, but the food? Perfection. I got the Summer Salad and every single berry was perfectly ripe. They have two full pages of different salads—the variety is massive. I had it for lunch AND dinner and still have leftovers! I also tried the Macadamia Nut Marshmallow Coffee and it was so unique—nutty, sweet, and came with two vegan marshmallows that were actually yummy and fluffy. If you’re vegan, they have tons of bakery options for you, too. The Deals: $2 Muffin Days (wow, such a steal!) Awesome Happy Hour specials The owner and his son are the hardest working people and the staff is incredibly friendly. I’m definitely making this my daily go-to spot—I can't wait to try every single drink on the menu."

"Was working an event that had ordered catering from here, Tom the owner personally came up to check on our event and make sure that we were happy with the food/the order was correct. As a vegetarian person, I was pleasantly surprised with the selection of veg options. Compared to other boxed sandwich lunches, this place definitely feels a cut above in terms of freshness and has some unique components. Only critique would be that the salad entrees could use some more of the quinoa/couscous/grain/etc to make it more fulfilling."

"An absolutely delicious quick lunch while we were out exploring the city. A little tricky to find, because it’s in a big corporate building, but I’m glad we risked walking in and found it. Staff was super nice. Food was fresh and everything we’d hoped for."

"I'm so thoroughly impressed with this place and everything about it. Tom, who I believe is the owner/manager?, is an absolute gem. The friendliest guy you'll ever meet with some of the best customer service I've experienced. And it's obvious he expects the same from everyone who works with him because they're all stellar. The food is top notch with so many great options, you can't go wrong. Their new space is lovely as well. Big big fan and happy to have a great lunch spot in the Loop!"

"I think I messed up… Goodwin’s has so many great options and I decided to order the sandwich with turkey and sour cream! The Nogales sandwich features an interesting combination that I have no idea why I ordered. It was good and showcase delicious meat, but there are so many better options like the Cuban Reuben or any traditional sandwich. The service was great and the owner is very welcoming. The atmosphere is free but a little contrasting, with the green apple logo contrasting the decorations that include surfboards. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Goodwin’s and will be back to try another sandwich. For now, I give Goodwin’s 4 stars!"
