"The absolute epitome of a historic/tourist train ride right down to the gunslinger shootout and train robbery! Take your kids or your inner child and you'll have a blast! Also helps that the bartender utilizes a heavy pour! 😉 The staff are uniformly great and they've perfected that tour-guide corny-but-fun humor. My advice, Splurge for the dome car for 1 leg of the trip then something cheaper for the other. The trip isn't super-scenic (You won't see the canyon until after you get off and climb some steps.) except for the possibility of wildlife (i saw some elk) and you can see more of the train that way as walking thru the train is kinda difficult. Also, if Singin' Sam is on your ride, ask him to play "House of the Risin' Sun". Seriously. One of the best renditions I've heard."

"Train travel was easy when boarding and unloading at the Grand Canyon Railway Depot. Every Attendant was friendly, kind and attentive to the needs of their passengers. They helped whenever needed, with professionalism and respect. They interacted well with passengers and exhibited excellent humor."

"This was a amazing experience from start to finish. We booked the train ride with the Luxury dome. The seats were comfy the air was cool. The view was amazing. The service and history of the area and by Mike was fantastic. They served juice, coffee and fruit & donuts on the ride out and tea and coffee with a meat tray on the way back with a Champagne toast. Just a relaxing and beautiful trip. Mile provided 5 star service. We had someone come play a few songs each way and a train robbery (not a real one) on the way back. Bring dollar bills to hide , just makes it so much more fun ."

"Train ride was amazing and it was great to see all the scenery changes as we got closer to the Canyon. The women's bathroom on the train has like a lounge area. We're your able to sit on the couch if you need to wait for someone in the toliet area. Toliet area is slightly bigger than airplane restrooms. But the door handle is weird to get out as you need to lift it backwards. Buffet area has a good selection of items & we had different things going up vs going back to Williams. Train ride was very smooth in 1st class car. My sister & her husband went to check the Cafe Car & also checked the Pullman car which is not air conditioned. They said it was also a rougher ride, that the car itself was about 100 years old. Definitely worth taking, was fascinating to learn so much about the train & grand canyon area."

"The most efficient, entertaining way to reach the Grand Canyon. Our PSA, Teryl, was a wonderful host that was full of stories and historical nuggets during the whole ride. Not to mention, a great bartender. We will be back!!"
