"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A True Hidden Gem in the High Desert! Don’t be intimidated by the simple, modest look of the building—what’s inside is pure magic. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and seated right away. Within seconds, I had fresh chips and an incredible sampler of salsas that honestly blew my mind—each one bursting with authentic, handcrafted flavor. The atmosphere feels like stepping across the border into a real family kitchen. Everything—from the food to the beautiful, authentic dishware—has that old-school charm and genuine love that only a true family-run restaurant can offer. You can feel the generations at work: Grandma, Grandpa, and the Daughters cooking everything fresh to order, while the new generation runs the front of house with pride and joy. Every bite tasted like it was made by someone who cares. The flavors were deep, soulful, and unforgettable. This isn’t just a meal—it’s an experience. Hay Madre Mia is hands down one of the most authentic and heart-filled spots in the High Desert. A true 5-star treasure. 🌮🔥 ---"

"We’ve been here 3 times now, and each time the experience has been better. The staff is amazing, very attentive and polite. Love the stoneware all the food is served in. We love going here and wish them long lasting success! Only negative I’ve seen so far is the parking situation. Seems to share with the market next to it so it can fill up quick."

"Went this past Saturday I can honestly say it is by far the best authentic Mexican food I’ve ever eaten, I have eaten in LA inland Empire, even in Mexico, south of Mexico and this is really good food. I’m not a coffee person, but I had to order the cafe de Hoya, very, very delicious, the waitress was very attentive. I ordered quesabirrias and my hubby birria burrito, everything was well Balanced not too greasy at all. It was so good that I had to order a burrito to go for my kid. I highly recommend."

"The food is delicious. I had chilaquiles Verdes with Caritas and carne asada. And a egg. 🤤 I tried the birria as well, very tasty the meat was soft and juicy with hand made tortillas. Y cafecito de olla. Definitely coming back to try more."
