While the cashier didnt know the answers she patiently consulted with the chef to answer all our questions and had a great attitude. We were able to find dairy and soy free options that were delicious with huge portions. It was really cute in there and we plan to try it again. I think the only down sides are it is all disposable dishes and plastic ware and the back bathroom area smelled so weird when heading into the sun room. Otherwise, such a fun and unique place for our small city."

The food is outstanding and the story is even better. This family owned business is run by former Hawaiian residents father and son and extended family. They were displaced during Hawaii fires and relocated back to the states to support aging parents. I am so excited that they have brought diversity and culture to Joplin Missouri. The staff is attentive, kind and most of all grateful for every patron that walks through the door. The food portions are more than substantial and the quality is fresh and delicious. I love how they prepare the food in to go boxes making take home easy for any of the generous portions of food that you don't have room for. They offer a selection of domestic beers and wine slushies as well as regular soft drinks and other options. Soft drinks free refills. Be sure and stop by for lunch sometime and support this local business. You won't be sorry and you will bring your friends. Stay blessed"

So, when someone suggested this restaurant for lunch I was all in. I was blown away! The food was perfection! The portions were large, the service was so friendly, and the atmosphere was great. I can’t suggest this restaurant enough. I was tempted to go back for dinner the same day. My only wish would be for them to expand to Pittsburg, Kansas so I could eat it every single day!"

Added bonus that it’s a local joint, because as a business owner myself, I love to support small businesses! Delicious food, reasonably priced, and great atmosphere. I will be back!"

I always thought it was going to be super expensive but their prices are extremely good and reasonable. This was my first Hawaiian food experience and it has now inspired me to come back and try some more. I got the loco moco and my wife got a poke bowl both with the pork and it was fantastic. The flavors of the loco moco were very rich and savory and the pork was perfection. The macaroni salad was also a nice refreshing touch. We also got spam Musubi as well and it was delicious super tender and a great starter to our meal. We will be back and probably several times, this is one of my new favorite spots in Joplin."
