"This is a small place inside of the iconic Barstow train station. It sells really good jerky and samples are given out to all of the customers. The prices are reasonable and the staff is really friendly. Bathrooms are available to the public and there are other vendors inside to choose from if you’re looking for something special. Stop by and have some fun and enjoy some good food. There’s plenty of parking and it’s near the freeway."

"My husband and I visited and ordered a 1/4 mix of Chipotle Bourbon and Carolina Repertoire. The $30 box was absolutely delicious, with amazing flavor and a really interesting variety. It’s important to keep in mind that this is an independent business, where the food is handcrafted over the course of hours. Each piece reflects care, quality ingredients, and thoughtful techniques. This is not an industrial, mass-produced product, and you can taste the difference in both flavor and texture. As for the price, we paid $30, which might seem high compared to store-bought jerky, but it’s essential to consider what you’re getting: a handmade product with real ingredients and no unnecessary additives. If you’re just looking for a cheap, ultra-processed snack, this isn’t the place. But if you value quality, authenticity, and supporting local creators, then this is absolutely worth every dollar."

"This spot is nestled in the Barstow Station property. It is tucked away in the end, so easy to miss if you don’t explore the entire area. I was on a bus on my way to Vegas and we stopped here for about 15 minutes for a restroom break. The shop had an assortment of jerky, loose leaf tea with a small variety of unique flavors, CBD tea, and instant mushroom coffee. Guy at the counter was super chill and friendly, offering to answer any questions I had. During the short time I was there, I personally had a pleasant experience. Will come again!"
