"WOW SO IMPRESSED! If you’re in Joplin and haven’t tried Las Brasas Bistro, you’re missing out on something special. We went all in on the Asados roasted chicken, Asados spare ribs, and the Pupusas — and every single item was outstanding. The roasted chicken was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The spare ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender with a perfect smoky flavor, great seasoning. The hot corn Tortillas are just like homemade ones! Just amazing! Now let’s talk about those pupusas — hands down some of the best I’ve had. Perfectly cooked, stuffed generously, and packed with flavor. You can tell everything is made fresh. The tomato sauce and slaw perfect match. The sides? Absolute 5-star status. Yellow rice – perfectly cooked, flavorful, not dry. Charro beans – rich, hearty, and full of depth. Have to get these! Garlic potatoes – you have to get them. So good. Crispy edges, soft inside, and loaded with garlic flavor. We also ordered Tostadas, which weren’t on the menu. Wow. If you can order them, give them a try you won’t be disappointed. Everything came out fresh, hot, and delicious. And here’s something I really appreciated instead of the typical chips and salsa, they serve duros with seasoning and hot sauce. Such a nice change and honestly a better pairing with the meal. Great flavor. Great portions. Great experience. If you’re in the Joplin area and love authentic, well-seasoned food done right, Las Brasas Bistro is a must-visit."

"I want to give 5 stars because most EVERYTHING was delicious! The Chicharrones chips were so good! The chips and homemade salsa were fantastic we couldn’t stop munching on them! My husband had the Chorizo Burger, it was amazing!! I had 2 roasted chicken tacos, I was not a fan.. I think the chicken should be left more whole, sauce on the side, and some crunch. There was no texture to the taco. It would’ve been a great crunchy taco! I would have really enjoyed it, if it hadn’t been over sauced.. I was looking forward to the flavor of the roasted chicken, but just didn’t get that flavor what so ever.. My husband had no problem finishing them off for me! Rice was good, beans were a little spicy. (I can handle some heat) Our visit was amazing and we will be back! The owner is super kind, and attentive! Very clean restaurant and well decorated! We definitely enjoyed the atmosphere!"

"How do I say this kindly? This is not like the other Mexican food restaurants in town. They’re doing their own thing compared to others locally and it is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! I had the half chicken and will definitely become a regular."

"Made from scratch food!! I watched the cook seasoning and skewering whole chickens to roast. Today I tried the papusas with chicken and chicharone. They were good, filling, totally homemade. The dipping sauce is flavorful and mild. The salsa options are super flavorful and today's batch of green salsa was VERY HOT but so flavorful I kept adding a bit to each bite. They understand d gluten free needs and cross contamination! I will be back to try other things and bring friends to support this new little restaurant in Joplin."

"Holy guacamole this place is amazing! The asada street tacos and charro beans had so much flavor. We’ve been twice now and can’t wait to go back. So fresh!"
