"We had breakfast here in November 2025. We were greeted and seated promptly after entering, and complimentary chips and salsa awaited us at our table. We both had egg dishes. I had eggs with sausage and green chili and my partner had eggs with adovada. Both of us greatly enjoyed our plates. The chili as well as the salsa was hot enough without being overpowering. We also got an order of salsa and an order of green chili to go and enough chips to feed us and our friends for days! Reasonable prices, great service. We hope to return the next time we are in Albuquerque. Plenty of free parking in the lot."

"Best family owned business anywhere. These days you get horrible frozen food from just about every restaurant anywhere so they can save money. But at Los Compadres I have never ever eaten any food there that tasted frozen, dry or just plain awful. This restaurant has the best fresh food, wonderful tasting, best chile, I am partial to the red. All the menu is GREAT, the customer service is exceptional, I have never had a bad experience. In fact they go out of there way to take care of everyone regulars and tourists. I really can say 100% this place is the best. I have gone to some very expensive places with awful food, ( such a shame). Los Compadres is extremely reasonable on price for as wonderful as the food is. Thank you to the family who owns it that they are keeping tradition to keep it the same with great food, awesome service and a great price. If I could go everyday I would. From sit down to carry out they take care of us all. THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS YOU."

"Opened at 9 a.m., though I had hoped it would be earlier. Still, it was worth the wait, because the food was great! I got the chicken enchilada breakfast, and it was so delicious! I even had extra food because I was hungry, and I could count on them! 😋 The staff were polite and rushed about, making sure everyone was being seen to and treated like valued customers. I know when I return to this area, I can count on this restaurant!"

"Oh my goodness and yes its full of goodness, great customer service, the food is outstanding. The atmosphere is nice n cozy, you are close to old town and the botanical gardens lots of shops near by for you out of towners. Very busy on weekends. We got there after 6pm on Saturday and we waited for about 15min. It wasn't to bad."
