"Maverick boasts a large buffet, and is not a typical buffet. The owner has a strong commitment quality items on their buffet, many of which are made in house. You can also order off a menu. The service is top notch, with the wait staff checking on me often and promptly removing my used dishes.. don't forget to leave room for the desert bar and ice cream. The dining is comfortable and extremely clean. I highly recommend to bring your family for a great meal. Also, locally owned business, not a franchise. I will be back!"

"It was a gamble as my friend and I usually eat elsewhere in Litchfield but I prodded him to try it. Instead of getting the steak I had been planning, I went with the buffet as it looked very well maintained and offered a variety of items. I enjoyed it and the service was spot on. Clean atmosphere and it was a great dining experience. I try to sample as many things as I can but the one item that makes or breaks it is the fried chicken - and let me tell you, it was excellent!! Of course, I had a little of the other items, including a stuffed pepper, but the fried chicken was very good. And the salad was satisfying, along with a number of cooked vegetables. For a dining experience that won't break the bank, is in a very well kept restaurant, with more than enough staff to address your needs, you won't go wrong at this Maverick."

"We eat here often. It's local. They're open late for us night people and we love the owners/server. The girls are great. I just wish they didn't cook their fried chicken in such hot grease! It's always done. But the breading is so done you can't enjoy it sadly 😔"
