Mizu Sushi Bar

"My wife and I arrived at Mizu 20 minutes prior to opening, we went to leave but the owners leapt up to unlock the door and let us in. They told us to seat ourselves and we went for a two top but we're encouraged to take a bigger table given we were the only folks inside. The owner served us and she was exceptionally attentive and kind. We ordered a volcano roll, summer roll, sex and the city roll, and lobster roll. Everything was KILLER. Some of the best sushi I've ever eaten. From the time we entered to the drop of our chop sticks we were only inside for 30 minutes. We closed out our dining experience with some mochi and a deep fried cheesecake which matched the rest of the meal in quality and taste. The rain was coming down and the owner offered to let us hang out as long as needed. I cannot recommend this place enough. By far our favorite meal on our trip to St. Louis so far!"

"The atmosphere was so relaxed, the music in the background wasn't so quiet you couldn't hear it or so loud you couldn't have a conversation. The staff was very nice and accommodating. To the point even seeing 2 girls out alone on a Saturday night, the waitress stopped us from ordering more drinks rather than rack up a bigger bill, we felt mothered in a sweet endearing way. The sushi was incredible, no fishy taste or smell. The salmon was buttery, the hand roll was perfect. I'll go here every single time I'm in St Louis from here on out. It's a beautiful spot!"

"The food was delicious and the service was excellent! We were going to share a bowl of the chicken ramen and they even offered to split it into 2 different bowls for us. The sushi was so tasty and the spring rolls were fresh and delicious with the side of peanut sauce 😋 The ramen had a nice, spicy kick to it. It's not like the traditional ramen you'd find in Japan, but it was yummy! Definitely would recommend this spot!"

"My partner and I love coming here. It's family owned and ran. The staff is always so friendly and personable. This is an extremely underrated spot in my opinion. Definitely a Saint Louis gem."
