2 months ago"Nonna's: A True Taste of Authentic Italy Downtown! Nonna's is a downtown Springfield gem offering authentic Italian cuisine in a cozy, old-world setting. Everything was delicious, from the crisp salads to the main course. I had the owner's favorite, the Spaghetti Amatriciana—thick noodles with a traditional Roman sauce of cured pork cheek, Pecorino Romano, and a hint of red pepper. Our waiter, Alex, provided superb service; he was exceptionally personable and his expertise was refreshing. His suggestion to add one of their incredible meatballs was a perfect complement! The overall vibe is vibrant yet calm. Don't let the challenging parking deter you; it’s well worth a couple of blocks walk. With great food and service at fair prices, Nonna's is a must-visit!"
