Odd One Out Tea Santa Monica

"I got their matcha and it was exactly what I’d hope for in a matcha - well blended and tasty. They have almond and oat milk, and also give you options for how sweet it can be in percentages (I think they use a simple syrup to sweeten the drinks and will default to making it sweet if you don’t request it to be completely unsweetened). The shop is set up like a stand, with a mixed indoor/outdoor feel that is mostly outside with a rain cover, but with additional seating outside outside. It is located in an area that gets a lot of foot traffic and would probably be great for people watching at sunnier/busier times, plus the cup size is quite large for the price."

"A convenient little boba stand in the middle of the promenade, OOO makes really flavorful milk teas that have a great taste and depth. The location in Sawtelle is just as good as well. You can't go wrong with any of their drinks. I've had their eispanner, buckwheat milk tea, champion milk tea, and iron Buddha milk tea before but this time I tried the Hokkaido soba milk tea (hot). I absolutely love buckwheat and barley flavored teas, and this one was just so fresh and delicious. The tea doesn't have a weird grainy aftertaste. I'm going to try the iced version next time but OOO is one of my go-to's for sure in SM."

"Cute little spot to enjoy some gelato or bubble tea. Prices are reasonable and service is quick and friendly. Personally disliked the bitterness of the blue matcha but noticed they use fresh matcha and use ACTUAL spirulina. Highly recommend!"

"It’s a really nice place to stop and grab some boba tea while shopping on 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica. My daughters loved the boba, though they commented that it wasn’t as sweet as they usually got it elsewhere. I probably would prefer it that way."

"Nice little tea and gelato stop in case you are craving for sweets in between a shopping spree. They do have a lot of milk-tea specialties including boba, and they do offer also a short assortment of ice creams."
