Our experience was so fantastic that we’ll be planning future Highway 44 trips around a stop here. We were immediately welcomed by Tony, who made us feel right at home with his genuine friendliness and hospitality. Even though the restaurant was undergoing a renovation and operating with a limited menu, being seated next to the brewery vats actually made the visit even more unique and fun. We noticed several groups playing board games and quickly spotted the game shelf — such a great touch for spending time with friends over a beer! We later learned Tony is the GM, which explains his passion, deep knowledge, and pride in how Public House has become a positive force in the local community. He recommended several beers to sample — all delicious — but the Giddy Goat, a smooth coffee stout, was my personal favorite. We loved it so much we left with a six-pack! We ordered the smash burgers, and they were some of the best we’ve ever had. While waiting for our food, Tony took a moment to give us a quick behind-the-scenes tour of the brewing equipment — such an unexpected and cool experience. The rest of the staff were just as friendly and attentive, and we even got to try one of their house-made cheesecakes… absolutely decadent! Public House Brewing Co. truly lives up to its name — fantastic beer, great food, and warm, welcoming hospitality. We can’t wait to return to see the completed renovation and the familiar faces that made this visit so memorable!"

We met with Chef Ben and Tony prior to discuss menu options, our serving preferences and the vibe we wanted for the evening. They nailed it! Our guests were amazed by the great food. Our server was wonderful. Presentation for the meal was incredibly well done. They really listened and cared about making the evening special. I highly recommend Rolla Public House for your next party/family gathering."

We moved to Rolla less than 24 hrs ago. We decided to hit a bar and grill near us but quickly walked out due to the uncleanliness of the establishment. If you have that many tables dirty then what does your kitchen look like? Last minute we decided to hit the Public House. I think it may have been one of our best experiences. The establishment is clean, they brew in house which always makes for a wonderful decor. Super clean establishment from what we saw. We are huge lovers of anything charcuterie. They really have amazing cheeses and meats that hit the spot. The additional side of pickled onions, peppers and tomatoes hit hard. Loved it!! It’s one of the best boards we have had to date in its simplicity. For dinner we split a Pig, Fig and Apple plate. I am not a sandwich person and even I enjoyed it thoroughly. The balsamic for the salad accompanied with the dried fig was a perfect combination. Our server was polite, attentive, knowledgeable and he did a great job. We will definitely be coming back to this establishment!!"

One thing to note is that if you choose to sit on the patio, you might need to get your own drinks at the bar. However, the standout feature for us was that this restaurant is incredibly dog-friendly, both inside and on the patio. Highly recommended for a great meal in a welcoming setting!"
