"Love it. It was a really sunny day so made it hard to enjoy the beach but overall it was great! Walking on the pier was fun. Prices were a little high but all in all great location. Great beach and clean enough sand for kids"

"I visited Santa Monica Pier for the first time, even though I’ve seen it countless times in movies, shows, and animation. Experiencing it in person was so much better than I expected. The colorful lights from Pacific Park, the ocean breeze, and the lively boardwalk atmosphere made the whole place feel amazing. There are lots of food spots, shops, and photo spots, and everything feels very lively at night. I can definitely see why this pier is so famous — it’s a great place to walk around, relax, and enjoy the view. I’d absolutely come back again."

"I visited Santa Monica Pier in Los Angeles in January 2026, and it was absolutely incredible. The weather was perfect, and the beach was stunning. There was plenty of parking, and the sun’s reflection on the ocean was breathtaking. Watching the sunset from the cliff overlooking the beach was one of the most beautiful experiences I’ve ever had. People were strolling along the pier, riding bikes, and simply enjoying the lively atmosphere. Additionally, there are fantastic spots for fishing, dining, and entertainment, making it a perfect destination for everyone."

"Visiting the Santa Monica Pier always feels like stepping into a living postcard where the energy of the city meets the calm of the Pacific. I love how the pier effortlessly blends classic amusement-park charm with sweeping ocean views that never get old. Walking through it, there’s a constant hum of laughter, music, and waves crashing below, which makes the experience feel alive and timeless. The mix of locals, tourists, families, and couples gives it a welcoming, communal atmosphere. As the sun lowers, the light transforms everything from the rides to the shoreline into something almost cinematic. It’s one of those places where you can be active or completely still and still feel fulfilled. No matter how many times I come back, it always feels nostalgic yet new."
