They had so many choices! We decided on two scoops in a bowl and a single scoop in a cake cone. The servings are huge! The single scoop on the cake cone was easily a double maybe a even a triple scoop. We tried out three different flavors and they were all excellent! I would highly recommend visiting the South Central Creamery if you ever visit Rolla."

They provided samples of each upon request. It was a difficult decision but I finally chose the Jolted Cow (espresso, brownie chunks and chocolate ice-cream). It was delicious 😋 The atmosphere was also very cheery and peaceful. It was a great stop."

A sweet girl helped answer all of my questions and make sure we got exactly what we wanted. There could be a few more topping options or different candies to possible add on. I would also say it could some more decor or something to make feel more inviting? Really great experience if all you can ask for is more things on the walls. I would definitely come back again."

Many kids I know call it "the penguin place" for the penguins that are painted on the windows - the mascots of the business. They have a large variety of flavors at reasonable prices, double scoops, toppings, shakes, cones, and more. It doesn't go very far beyond the basic, but I suppose it doesn't really need to. This is a great place to end hot summer days, and a great place for ice cream dates. I personally love their (I've forgotten the name, forgive me) chocolate ice cream, that is literally like 4 different kinds of chocolate in one ice cream. It's so delicious! The last time I was there, I remember they charged 50cents for extra sprinkles, which was a lot in my opinion, but I don't run an ice cream store, so I don't know how much extra sprinkles cost in the long run. I do love that they hire local artists to do their murals on their windows! I included those photos, from South Central Creamery's Facebook page. My friend actually did the painting, so forgive me - I'm a little proud!"
