"Hidden Gem for Quick and Flavorful Mexican Fare!** but unfortunately, updating my review because for the past three days, I’ve gone back and they are closed and they don’t have a phone. (Unreliable hours) I recently had the chance to check out this restaurant, a little hole-in-the-wall that just opened up in our neighborhood. Nestled in a convenient location, it offers a fast-casual vibe that makes it perfect for a quick bite. On my first visit, I did experience a bit of a wait, but let me tell you, it was well worth it! The meat in my tacos was incredibly well-flavored, showcasing the authentic taste of Mexican cuisine. You can tell they put a lot of care into their recipes. The atmosphere is casual, and the staff is friendly, which adds to the overall experience. I returned a second time, and I’m happy to say that the wait was much shorter, which made for a quicker lunch. I tried a few different dishes, and everything was consistently delicious. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable, making it an excellent choice for anyone looking for a satisfying meal without breaking the bank. If you're in the mood for tasty Mexican food that you can grab on the go, I highly recommend giving Taqueria El Comandante a try. I can see this place quickly becoming a local favorite!"

"Tried their chile relleno burrito. So delicious!! Good size burrito! I'm in love with their salsas, especially the red one, so spicy. Can't wait to try more of their food. The restaurant stands out when you drive by, so colorful. Definitely a must try!!"

"First time here..... food was cold when I got it in the drive-thru. I didn't wanna go back because it took long as is and there was only one person in front of me. The food is good, to be honest, just cold. Idk why. Also, I will say their orchata is really good. The area was a lot of homeless, but idk didn't go inside."
