"We were traveling through Joplin on way to Austin TX and found the most delish-ishly adorable breakfast spot. The farm fresh menu had surprises like beet hollandaise and beer syrup. Our whole table went the eggs Benedict route and none were disappointed. The asparagus for the Garden Benny was cooked perfectly with the snap in the middle. The beet hollandaise was a delightful beet nod to a classic sauce, Subtle and delicious. The pink color was anything but subtle (we loved it). The Cuban included salty warm pork crisped nicely and it was a great contrast to the perfect poached egg. Their classic Harper Benny should be a solid go to choice when you can’t decide. I added a few drops of crispy chili sauce and that was a home run. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The whole place felt like going over to your cool aunts house for breakfast, the kinda aunt where you want to stay long enough she also makes you a burger for lunch. Need more convincing? The bathrooms are decorated with pop culture film bathroom scenes- nice touch and funny!"

"Hear me world! There is breakfast and there is BREAKFAST!!! Our friends have been telling us for a few years now about this Gem of a breakfast spot in Joplin, MO; The Bruncheonette, a small family operated restaurant. We finally made it there and it exceeded our expectations. Everything we had was a FLAVOR BOMB! Out of that small kitchen came out MIND BLOWING, MADE FROM SCRATCH, DELICIOUS foods with quality ingredients. The food came out fast and the service was friendly and attentive. The pancakes topped with pulled pork were EXEPTIONAL! The carrot fries, INSANELY delicious (move over sweet potato fries). The crêpes were delicate and flavorful. The spicy crab breakfast sandwich was INCOMPARABLE! We will definitely be back!"

"We were in town picking up a rented Porsche for my husbands 55th bday and found this little gem. The farm fresh menu was a surprise with beet hollandaise and beer pancake syrup. We choose Eggs Benedict, Notorious Crab, and French toast. The beet hollandaise was a beautiful addition, subtle and delicious. The classic Harper Benny was perfect and hit the spot. The staff was very attentive not pushy and helpful."

"A fantastic casual brunch spot in Joplin! The Garden Benny is a must-eat. It was full of so many wonderful flavors and fun colors! The service was absolutely phenomenal, incredibly attentive and friendly without ever feeling like they were hovering. The atmosphere does not at all match the food: but that’s good southern comfort for ya. Familiar inside, top notch eats. The Hey Brah! french toast is made from locally baked Hawaiian sweet bread. It was good, but probably a one time deal. Their syrup on the other hand… it’s made using a local IPA and has a really incredible almost honey-like flavor. Not sure it gelled with the toast, but man was it good!!"
