"What a gem! Absolutely loved the look and feel— Warm, welcoming, sophisticated styling with chill music. Enjoyed restaurant week menu. Service was perfect without being pretentious at all. The food is what will ultimately bring us back. Beet carpaccio was creative and delicious. Both duck confit and braised short rib expertly prepared- fully of flavor with perfectly cooked veggies to round out each bite. Enjoyed the soup, risotto and dessert too. Looking forward to our next meal there and plan to enjoy their 1/2 price wine on Tuesdays!! A+"

"If you love Duck, this cool elevated bar is the place for you. The Duck Inn gets its name from the menu, because Duck is King here! From the Duck sausage to Duck fat fries, Duck wings to the amazing whole Duck experience. It is all so delicious. The bar is also on point, from old style beers on tap to creative cocktails, there’s something to fit all tastes. So make a reservation and visit this neighborhood gem located in Chicago’s south side Bridgeport neighborhood. it’s definitely a fun time with good vibes."

"The location is outside of the downtown area, closer to Chinatown. We came on a Friday night so the restaurant was packed and buzzing. We were seated right away. The menu is rather limited, we were disappointed we couldn't order a half order of the rotisserie duck since it was just the two of us. We decided on the BBQ duck wings which are yummy and saucy. The Brussels sprouts are unique and tasty, with the brown butter crumble setting it apart. The Foie gras terrine is excellent, complemented by brioche and black currants sauce. The wagyu pappardelle is very good, the beef tongue ragu works so well with the al dente pasta. The duck Inn dog has the heart snap to it and amazing relish, the best Chicago dog we've had. The passion fruit lassi cocktail is wonderful."

"Came here for Chicago Restaurant Week 2026 and honestly the $60 dinner is a great deal! Portions were generous and everything felt thoughtfully done. The vibe inside is dark, moody, and the staff is super friendly! For restaurant week we started with the umami beet tartare which surprised me because it’s a cold dish with unique flavors. The second dish was the wild mushroom and creamy toasted barley was rich, comforting, and full of flavor. If you like risotto types of food you’ll like this dish. The third dish was absolutely the star of the night - the confit duck 🦆 - wow SO good! Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and easily the best dish on the menu. Finished with the bananas foster baked Alaska, which was a fun and delicious ending. They were very accommodating with my food allergies, which I really appreciated. I also tried the brussels sprouts and loved them, and my friend got the duck wings and couldn’t stop talking about how good they were. For the price, the portions, and the quality, this is absolutely worth trying!"
