"Food was fresh and tasty. The rice was good, taco salad holders were fresh with a great crisp. Fair prices and they also had a giant horchata. Enchilada sauces were all tasty. Overall good experience and would come back!"

"Stopped by for a late lunch around 3:30 on a Sunday. There was plenty of seating available when we arrived, but it started to fill up quickly. The service was great, we were greeted and seated promptly. Food was good, but the beans and rice were lacking a bit of flavor. The guacamole was decent, seemed like there was more tomato and onions than avocado. 🥑 The horchatas are huge, this was probably the first time I didn’t finish my drink. 😆 Overall, it was good, not great. I still haven’t found really good Mexican food in OKC, but this place would rank at the top of my lists."

"One of the best, if only, options for Mexican in downtown OKC. Only ever go for lunch specials but always been impressed at the speed of their service even during the lunch rush. Some dishes are definitely better than others but the portion sizes, even on the lunch, are always enough. Prices are good. Staff friendly."

"Authentic Mexican food. I would have been a complete 5 Stars but I am a Tex-Mex guy. My wife loves authentic Mexican food. We balance each other out LOL. The environment are laid back, relaxed, and a authentic Mexican fiesta style of energy. I recommend you give them a try. Local business, friendly team, authentic Mexican food, queso, salsa, etc. 5 stars for fajitas. The salsa & queso are authentic Mexican style. The salsa and queso are authentic style. This means fresh and homemade daily. Queso is thinner than the type served in chain owned restaurants. This means it is prepared daily using the Lazy Donkey's own recipe. I admit I like the thicker, Tex-Mex style Queso like "On the Border". My wife however prefers the thinner, authentic Mexican style queso & loved the Lazy Donkey."
