"I stopped by the Rainbow Cone on North Michigan Avenue while exploring downtown Chicago, and it ended up being one of the highlights of my day. The moment I walked in, the shop had that bright, cheerful vibe that pulls you in. Everything looked clean and well-kept, and the staff behind the counter were friendly even though it was pretty busy. I ordered the classic five-flavor Rainbow Cone, and it was absolutely worth the hype. Each layer had its own taste, but together they made a really unique combo you don’t get anywhere else. The cone came out perfectly stacked, and it was fresh, creamy, and not overly sweet. You can tell they take their time preparing it right, even with a crowd waiting. Because this location is right off Michigan Ave and close to Millennium Park, the area can get packed, so there was a bit of a wait—but it moved faster than I expected. The employees seemed used to handling big lines, and the service stayed upbeat. Overall, it’s a great place to stop if you’re downtown. The ice cream is delicious, the store feels inviting, and the location makes it super convenient. I’d definitely come back again for another Rainbow Cone, especially on a warm day."

My husband and I thought it would be a picturesque idea, but by the time we arrived, we had already devoured nearly everything! Instead, you might want to head right into Millennium Park, sit down, and enjoy it at a leisurely pace—it makes the whole experience even sweeter. The flavors blended perfectly as always, and each bite reminded me why Rainbow Cone has been a Chicago favorite for generations. "As a kid of the late 60s and 70s, I remember my Mom and Dad taking us to rainbow cone once a month for a treat." If we were good." My Dad appreciated how well they treated us as a black family, with kindness and respect. The service at the new Michigan Avenue location was great. Manager Brian took time to make sure we knew what was available and even gave us samples. We appreciate their kindness as well as the great tasting product. Thanks again we will return."
