Wilder's Steakhouse

"Came on a random Tuesday night and didn't make a reservation. Had a party of 6, and it took them a few minutes to figure out where to seat us. Definitely make reservations if you have a larger party. Restaurant has a decent bit of bar top seating at an older looking bar. They sat us in a back room at a very nicely presented white table clothed table. We ordered the hot crab dip for an appetizer. It was delicious. 10/10 recommend. For my entree, I ordered the 8 oz filet medium rare with the brown sugar brussel spouts. I almost always have to season my steak, but this was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Carley was our server and she was the perfect mix of being attentive while also not being at our table too often. Next time I am in town, I'll definitely be stopping by for dinner."

"Genuinely the best restaurant in Joplin. The quality and service are standard at the price point. Choices cover surf and turf with elk to choose from and a nicely stocked bar. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable. The staff are responsive and knowledgeable. 5/5 would recommend."

"Our first time to Wilders did not disappoint. We started with Lamb lollipops which were amazing. I had the 12 oz strip and asparagus and my wife had the special of steak with scallop and lump crab with bearnaise sauce. Both entrees were perfect and delicious. We ended with turtle cheesecake and coffee which was exemplary. The atmosphere, amazing food, and Brian the waiter made this experience one that will have us coming back again."

"Excellent steak house! Took the girlfriend here in September and it was amazing. Steaks are top notch and sides were very good as well. The bacon app is something for sure to try! Our server was extremely kind and was always checking on us. Is it pricey, yes, but any top steak house is! Elegant and cozy atmosphere made it great for a romantic dinner!"
